Transparent, flexible, on your terms; precisely how it should be
We offer a no-cost, no-obligation discovery meeting where we take as much time as needed to understand you and what you are looking for. We assess your current situation and determine how we might be able to help by reviewing all strategy levels and the options in each. Although we may suggest areas we think you need to address, what we do is entirely up to you! Once you’ve selected your options, we fully disclose all pricing.
To get started, we present your advisory services agreement, new planning account application and review your payment options. Not ready to sign? That’s ok too! We encourage you to take all the time you need to make sure you are ready and comfortable working with us!
We also offer flexible meeting hours in-person, over the phone, or virtually; whatever best accommodates your lifestyle and ensures your advice is delivered efficiently and implemented effectively.
Strategic Seasonal Planning
After signing the appropriate documents, the process continues by moving on to the Tempus Snapshot, a proprietary tool used to take a complete inventory of your financial situation and then provide access to your personal financial website and digital vault. We will outline our to-do’s and your to-do’s which is normally “homework” to be returned via mail, secure email, in-person, or stored in your digital vault.
Once we’ve gathered all the information we need, your financial baseline is established and the analysis begins! We test customized strategies and solutions to determine the optimal recommendations for you. Our findings are presented to you at the second “strategy” meeting which can be conducted over the phone or in-person. Our goal is to provide advice and solutions on your terms, whatever it takes to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the strategies and solutions we recommend.
The third meeting serves as a final review and implementation of the recommendations, which might be anything from opening actively managed accounts to applying for life insurance, or changing your 401k plan allocation. However, once all recommendations are implemented it doesn’t end there! Your advisory services agreement covers a period of 12 months and at the end of the 12-month period, we will revisit your agreement and needs to decide if renewing or discontinuing is right for you.
Active Asset Management
We begin by completing a Portfolio X-Ray and Risk Assessment of your current investments to reveal allocation, diversification, quality, yield, cost, and portfolio risk score. Next, we complete a Personal Risk Assessment to calculate your personal risk score. The Portfolio X-Ray and risk scores form your current investment baseline from which we will test various scenarios to determine your willingness and ability to take risk relative to your goals. At this point, we will present an optimized portfolio allocation.
Optimization is a process that aligns your ability and willingness to take risk, while improving overall quality and reducing internal cost. Finally, we compare your current investment allocation to the optimized allocation and provide tax-sensitive recommendations to align accordingly. Once we’ve reviewed all investment recommendations to your satisfaction, the final step is implementation. After your portfolio is in place we will schedule semi-annual review meetings to ensure your allocation remains appropriately aligned to the fundamentals and your needs.
